Image Church is a Jesus-loving, Bible-teaching church in South Orange County, CA. While many today believe the Scriptures are outdated, we believe they are as relevant as ever. And so we seek to form our community around the Bible and the simple, yet profound, elements of a biblical church found in Acts 2:42. We are people who are saved, but not perfected. And so we invite other imperfect people to join us as we seek to be obedient and faithful to the only perfect and faithful One who suffered and died for our sins, Jesus Christ.

The name “Image Church” was chosen out of a deep concern to be both biblically faithful and culturally relevant. While many people are aware of various rules contained within the Bible, far fewer understand the actual story of the Bible. And so one way to tell the grand story of the Bible simply is by using the word “image”.

The Bible teaches in Genesis that humankind was created in the “image of God” (Gen. 1:26-27). However, because of sin, the Bible also teaches that the image of God in every human being has been distorted from birth since the introduction of sin into the human race (Ps. 51:5; Eph. 2:1-3). But thanks be to God that in and through Jesus, and only Him, God is inviting all people everywhere to be renewed in the image of Christ through the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God the Father (Col. 3:10; Rom. 8:29). And so as you can see, not only is the name “Image Church” profoundly biblical, in this deeply divided and polarizing time in our culture, we are reminded of our common humanity, our common sin, and our common salvation.

The mission of Image Church is to bear witness to Jesus Christ, who IS the image of God, and to become like Him by the power of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God the Father. We seek to accomplish this mission by equipping, mobilizing, and transforming.

Equip

Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ for all areas of life so that followers of Jesus are confidently prepared for every good work.

Mobilize

Responding to the Gospel of Jesus Christ by becoming an active participant in the life of the church.

Transform

Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout our community in order to see tangible results from the Gospel.
